Please welcome, Jack Marvin, to Mrs. Doerr's classroom as our new EBS paraprofessional.
Due to unforeseen health concerns, we are sad to communicate that Cassidy Burgos has made the difficult decision to resign from her position this school year. We wish her the best of luck and hope we will see her return to Willard in the future. We have posted the position in the hopes of quickly finding an ELA/SS teacher for navy team. Please share the posting if you know of a great candidate or our Facebook posting on the school page!
-WIG Wed - Be sure to update your WIG from last week and have it posted. Our reminder to check in with your accountability partner will be Wed. at 8:06 am. When you hear the song, find your partner if you haven’t already checked in with them this week! ;) We will be coming around this week to check all are posted.
-Allergies: Please be aware we have staff/students with specific allergies in our building. Due to a corn allergy, please do not pop popcorn and be aware of items with cinnamon in the commons areas.
-Personal Mission Statements: Each staff member will be sharing their mission statement at our early out meeting next Mon. 14th and should have it posted in their classroom or door entry. Here are some resources if you are still creating yours or would like to update your mission statement. (*Will need log-in to the Leader in Me site for some of the resources below. Please let Stacey or Heather H. know if you need help with this!)

-Homecoming Details: The homecoming parade will work similar to how it has in the past. This link takes you to further details. Those items highlighted are in DRAFT and still need updated, but I wanted you to have the overall details for planning purposes.
Float participants - Stacey will draw 1 student per class based on those who have 100% attendance to be a part of the float and get permission slips to them this week.
Bus assignments will be made once we get confirmation on # of buses.
-Don’t forget to add any pictures you have taken to our WIS shared folder.
-Recess: It looks to be a very warm week again. We will keep an eye on the heat index. Here are the weather protocols. Please remember it is very important to be on time for recess duty and spread out in the zones (p. 3) to supervise.
-Vector Training Videos - If you haven’t already, make sure you are getting these completed as it will get harder as things get busy.
-Clubs: If you have a club starting soon, please get the club proposal form to Stacey in order to be approved and added to the school calendar.
