Morning Announcements: Please add things you would like to have added to our morning announcements on the appropriate day.

Nuts and Bolts Items:

-Please help me in welcoming Rocky Wiltermuth to our building as the lead custodian! Rocky comes to us from Intermediate-North, so some of you may recognize him. We are excited and fortunate to have him join our team.

-Welcome back to Mrs. Muller also! Thinking of you and your family this week as you make the transition back to school. We’re glad to have you back in the building!

-FYI: Administrator surveys will be sent out in the next couple of weeks. Please know that I welcome your feedback. As I continue to learn and grow myself in this role, this input is very valuable to me.

-MAP testing: A parent email was sent last week from the office re: MAP schedule and ways families can help their child prepare. They were encouraged to ensure rest, healthy breakfast, charged Chromebooks and headphones were present each day for students. Please take the necessary steps with students to make sure they are prepared and ready to give their best. Also, that you have read through the manual to kick off strong. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to Beth, Shawnda or Stacey.

-Transition Day for Parents: We will hold our first-ever transition day ‘open house’ for parents on Thursday, May 12 from 5:45-6:45 pm. We would love to have representatives for our clubs, student leadership teams and adult staff here to help welcome our new families coming next year and share about our school. If you or your club/group is interested in helping out, please let Stacey know.

-Food Drive: Art Crew student leadership team is leading this. Please share the information and make sure the flyer is sent home if you didn't on Friday. Items may be sat outside your door and will be picked up each day.

-Just a reminder so you can prepare as the end of the school year nears, teacher offices will need to be packed up for deep cleaning this summer. Information re: check out procedures will be shared in the next few weeks.

-Shout out to Coach Duchsherer for coordinating the Jason Pyrah Mile Run for some of our students last week. They were excited to have this opportunity!

Teacher Tips & Tidbits:

A little motivation during a time we can likely use it. One adult can change the trajectory of a life. It really is true. We are doing important work everyday, even when it may not feel like it.
