Morning Announcements: Please add things you would like to have added to our morning announcements on the appropriate day.
Nuts and Bolts Items:
-Arrival/dismissal - We would like all hands-on deck to welcome our students and help with dismissal procedures at the end of the day. Non-classroom teachers-we’ll want people out front, buses, assisting with finding classrooms and breakfast. We’ll have some music playing to greet students in both locations. Bubble machines?! Let’s pump them up!
-Sidewalk chalk - If you are able to get here a little early, we’d love to also have your help writing positive welcome messages outside on the concrete.
-Classroom teachers-Please be sure to go over these items with your students early:
Lunch PIN - Students will want to come to lunch with their PIN number. This can be found in SIS or you may call the office if you need assistance.
Dismissal plans - You will want to know how your students will get home day one and then normally. If there are any questions re: bus number, etc., please let the office know ASAP so that we may help clarify before the end of the day.
-Water bottles - It's going to be a warm week. Please remind students to bring a water bottle to school everyday. Also, encourage that these are clear so we are able to easily tell it is water only.
-Seating charts - Please have your class seating charts linked by Wed. morning at the latest for each of your classes and include the date on it. These team folders can be found on the dashboard under “COVID”.
-Student names - If you have a student request to be called a name that does not correspond to the student’s gender identity, please handle this delicately and discreetly notify Stacey by email.
-WIS school shirt online orders - Online orders are open to get your 2021-22 school shirt! This information is going home with the student packets today. You are also welcome to place an order, just put STAFF in the comments. These are great shirts to wear on Fridays when we wear Willard wear and jeans.
-COVID/quarantine information from Willard Health Services - Please review this information from our health services department.
-Staff Favorites - Please be sure to complete this if you haven’t!
-Pioneers will be on Wednesdays this year and will begin on Sept. 8. Marc Allie should notify you before then of your students attending. He will be in the same location as last year on green team. Please be aware we will also have elementary students here on Fridays for pioneers.
-Safe School/ALICE videos - You should be completed or close to done with these videos. The one titled, Sexual Misconduct: Staff to Student is priority.
