Mon. Library/Counseling Week: A week

Morning Announcements: Please add things you would like to have added to our morning announcements on the appropriate day.

WIS shared picture folder: Please add your school pictures throughout the year. We’d love to have lots to choose from for the yearbook!

Nuts and Bolts Items:

-Chrome Camp Schedule: With Chromebooks checked out now, each class will come to the library once a week for the next 3 weeks to go over expectations, using the Chromebook, Google Drive tips, etc. This is a great time for teachers to partner with Mrs. Farmer and all in the building (students and staff) to have consistency with the use of technology.

-Cardinals tickets: We’ve got plenty of tickets for Tuesday’s game. If you decide you’d like to come, just stop by the office for tickets. It’s not too late and we’ve got a lot of families joining us!

-Wellness room schedule: We have the schedule posted on the door now. The times it’s being used are blacked out. Feel free to use it any other time!

-Team meetings: Samantha and/or I will be checking in during team meetings this week to prepare for NWEA testing next week and assist with any questions/needs your team may have. More NWEA info will come during content meetings, but your team can be thinking about preferences for your testing schedule. Andrew Morton is also planning to drop by in case you might have any student needs he can assist with.

-Beginning year items: Keep working on the completion of your ‘to do list' as we get things set up for the new year (Safe school videos, sub folder, parent phone calls, voicemail message, walkie talkie working, seating charts, lesson plans…). We may have some fun with completed items in the next couple of weeks - perhaps some prizes and fun challenges!

-Stacey will be out this week on Thursday & Friday for a minor surgery. We’ll have someone covering in the office both days and the plan is to return on Tuesday after Labor Day! She'll be checking emails as available too in case you need anything.

-Club Proposals: If you would like to sponsor a club, please share a completed club proposal and permission slip with Stacey. Once approved, you will be notified and we’ll get it added to the calendar, website and announcements. If you’d like it added to the September calendar going home to parents this week, please get it turned in as soon as possible!

-School belonging WIG: Be sure you've hung yours up. We can’t wait to hear how your lead measures are going! It’s really been an amazing start to the year. We’ve had several positive comments from parents. We even had some students tell say on Friday they were sad it was the weekend because they’ve had so much fun at school. How cool is that! Your time, effort and investment truly make a difference. Thank you!
