WIS Weekly News:
Nuts and Bolts Items:
-NWEA Schedule: Testing begins this week for our 6th grade on Tues.-Thurs. and makeups continue.
-Spring Parent Conferences: Please document your conference attendance. You can make note of those you are still reaching out to this week on the right side. Then, you will log your hours here.
-Lighthouse Team Interest: Are you interested in helping us vision for our school? As we wrap up this year and set goals for next year based on our upcoming MRA data, we want to hear from those staff members (certified or classified) that may be interested in sharing their voice and leadership on our Lighthouse team.
-Tutoring Attendance: Please remember to use this new special attendance form to record those students who stay with you.
-Building Staff Wish List: Is there something you wish we had at school or you see needs improvement? Let us know when you think of it! This list is always under “Forms” on the Dashboard and is used as we prioritize purchases with the remaining budget and capital improvements.
-Field Trips are coming up. We have created this working document to help you organize and ensure all pieces are taken care of for a field trip - from first steps, permission slips returned and the 'day of'. If you have a question or see something we need to add, please let Stacey or Rhonda know!
-MRA Survey Details: The purpose of this survey is to gain input about our culture, leadership & academics from stakeholders. This information will allow us to reflect on our progress with this year’s goals, historical growth, and also set goals for next year’s focus. The survey window will be open March 25-April 8.
Parent Survey: Unfortunately, we only had 12 families fill out our survey. Please include a link to this survey in your April newsletter and encourage parents to complete it.
Student Survey: Classes should plan to administer the student survey THIS WEDNESDAY during Lead time. Please take some time to explain the purpose of this survey and encourage them to give their best feedback.
Link to student questions if you’d like to review with students or go over any vocabulary.
Staff Survey: Time will be given during our April 7 early out meeting. However, you are welcome to complete it before then if you choose. We would appreciate input from ALL employees at our building.
Penny Wars kick off Monday. Help us really talk it up with the kids! Students may turn in their money in the bucket of their choice in the commons each day.
