Mon. Library/Counseling Week: B week

Morning Announcements: Please add things you would like to have added to our morning announcements on the appropriate day.

News Show:

WIS shared picture folder: Please add your pictures throughout the year to our folder. This is used for our yearbook and social media posts to tell our story!

Nuts and Bolts Items:

-NWEA testing makeups are this week. As a team, please take a look at all makeups needed to determine a plan to complete them by Friday. If you are needing help, let Samantha know soon in order to help with a plan.

-Book Fair supervision - Is there someone willing to help cover 6th hallway for Mrs. Farmer in the morning this week as she has the book fair going on? Also, anyone else available without supervision during morning arrival, we would appreciate your help in the library to supervise the book fair from 8:10-8:35 am each day. This is usually a pretty busy time!

-Book fair - Please see Mrs. Farmer’s email re: expectations. Students should not bring backpacks. After checking in, they may come down in the morning before school IF they have money to spend.

-Congratulations to Mrs. Vest for being our WIS #TeacherProudTuesday recipient. It was evident from the nominations the dedication Mrs. Vest puts into helping her students become lifelong readers does not go unnoticed. In addition, the many staff who appreciate and recognize her willingness to help them grow as instructional leaders too. Thanks for your investment and impact on others at WIS, Leah!

-Team/Class Winter Parties are scheduled for next Friday, Dec. 22. Parties should be 30-45 min. Please let Stacey know your time/plans so that the office is aware to field calls and items being sent in.

-Instructional Excellence/DGH: All hours need to be submitted for this semester

-Stanley cups: Students should not be carrying Stanley-type cups around to classes unless they have a stopper closed lid attached as they can tip over and leak. They are welcome and encouraged to use a closed-top bottle. Also, remember ONLY water.

-Dismissal bells: Unless your team has supervision duty, walkers, Tiger Tales and club students should not be dismissed until the 3rd bell. Please have a staff member that stays back with them. This will help with the number of students we have 'roaming' or hanging out in the vestibule. Thank you for your help!

-Did you see this great news article? Some of our students got to attend this wonderful event last Friday!

-12 Days to Winter Break Spirit Days continue. Congrats to our denim winners last week. A big thank you to Student Lighthouse, Mr. Ben and others helping to organize all the fun for us!! :) Be sure to share the spirit days with students so they can participate too!
