WIS Weekly News:
Nuts and Bolts Items:
-We have a couple big events coming up in December and would love everyone’s help in making them a success! See how you can get involved here:
WIS Book Fair at Barnes & Noble on Dec. 8: This event is from 11 am-7 pm, so you can sign up to help greet, wrap, be a guest reader or just come hang out for a bit. Do you know of anyone that would be an awesome guest reader or wrapper? Let Autumn know to get them signed up! We've also got some fun holiday costumes if you'd want to be a gingerbread man, snowman or Christmas tree! ;)
Winter Festival help on Dec. 13: You can see a list of booths here, add your name to this roles list or the Sign Up Genius for Parents/Staff to help! We'd just love to hear from you as there's several roles to fill.
-NWEA Schedule begins this week with 5th grade. Be sure to add any absences or students not complete to our Makeups Sheet. Specials teachers will be using this during support time to assist with getting tests completed.
-Academic WIG Goal Tracking: Please be sure you have updated your class WIG percent on the sign outside your classroom door. This is an important goal for our building and can be a very powerful piece for students when carried out with them.
-Meal Train for Sheena’s Family: There are still some dates left in December if you could help provide a meal. We know Sheena is juggling a lot while her husband is working on healing and it is greatly appreciated!
-December Newsletters should go out this week if your team hasn't sent home yet. Be sure to share it with Autumn, Stacey and Wendy in the office too.
-December calendar - Our monthly calendar is now being created by our Community Connections student leadership team. They did a GREAT job on their first one! :)
