STEM class location: Tech Café and bring Chromebooks

Morning Announcements: Please add things you would like to have added to our morning announcements on the appropriate day.

Nuts and Bolts Items:

-Student leadership team reminders:

  • Be sure you have taken time before Tues. morning to discuss student leadership teams with your students. You will want to cover the purpose, their assigned team and locations so everyone knows what to do. This will help things go much smoother Tuesday morning.

  • Also, be prepared to kick-off things with your leadership group in order to build excitement and help everyone get to know each other. This is a great chance to make them feel special and pumped about being a leader!

-It’s Counselor Appreciation Week! We hope you feel the love this week, Beth. We appreciate YOU! 😊

-Be sure to let us know if you signed up to get the “Help for Billy” book study book.

-If your team would like support from our RTI/MTSS team re: a student, please complete these new and improved initial forms and return to Emily Gehring no later than February 5, 2020, to get on the tentative schedule for the end of February.

-Valentine’s Day Party: We’ll be doing grade level parties next Fri, Feb. 14 like we did our fall party. Specials teachers are coming up with the station games. Information re: snack items to request from parents will be to your team soon! Students are welcome to do Valentine’s and boxes, but you will want to plan time for this outside of the party time.

-12 Weeks to Full Heart challenge – Did you grab lunch with your student last week? If so, enter your name here by Fri. for a chance to win a free lunch! Last week too crazy and didn’t make it happen? It’s not too late – you’ve got until Friday to be in our drawing for a free lunch! This week, don’t forget to make that positive call home!

-Did you know you can get access to many of our forms and resources on the staff blog? Check out the “Forms/Resources” tab at the top of our blog. It probably has what you are looking for!

-Super Bowl game changers – Winners of the Amazon gift cards will be announced tomorrow!
