Morning Announcements: Please add things you would like to have added to our morning announcements on the appropriate day.
WIS News:
WIS shared picture folder: Please add your pictures throughout the year to our folder. This is used for our yearbook and social media posts to tell our story!
Nuts and Bolts Items:
-Dodgeball game @ Community Time: We need all to complete our survey by Tuesday!
-Tutoring Schedule: Please make sure your team’s tutoring schedule is accurate for 2nd semester. Students should have at least 2 different opportunities available to attend tutoring each week.
-Yearbook orders are on sale! Be sure to add reminders in your newsletters. Here is the link to order: https://shop.yearbookmarket.com/willardintermediatesouth.
-ESL ACCESS: Testing will begin next week, Feb. 7. If you have ESL students that will be testing, Mrs. Gillette will communicate the schedule with you.
-Heads Up: 1 Team, 1 Willard Celebration Walk: Our 2nd semester walk will be next Thurs., Feb. 8 @ approximately 10:00 am. This is a great opportunity to have our district office staff and board members here to see all the great things happening at WIS!
-NWEA results: 5th grade teachers, please have your students who improved on NWEA sign the board if they haven’t! Mrs. Muller has the markers available if needed just inside her room. We want to have these completed for our upcoming 1T1W walk soon.
-Stanley cups: Please remind students we can not have these type of cups unless they have a lid for the straw to avoid spills.
-Feb. 16 District PD Day: Our upcoming PD day will be held at the high school beginning at 8:00 am. A schedule for this day will be shared soon!
-The weather forecast looks amazing this week nearing 60 degrees some days. It might be a great time to schedule a quick read aloud or independent reading at one of our great outdoor areas to get some fresh air.
-Team meetings this week: Samantha or I will plan to connect with each team during their weekly meeting to get an update re: itime before Becca's return next week. Please be prepared to share your team's current focus plan and students' targeted for small group interventions.
Technology Tip:
Google classroom is a great resource and one used daily at WIS. There were some great new features announced last week at the FETC conference. Check out these new tips and more from Matt Miller’s “Ditch that Textbook”blog.
