Nuts and Bolts Items:
-Impact team training for ELA has been CANCELED this week due to the number of people out sick currently in the district. Please do not delete your subs as the district will be making shifts where the need is and taking care of it.
-While our COVID numbers have been increasing, we could use your help on a couple things:
Seating charts - Along with making sure they are up-to-date, please try to limit your changes to every 2 weeks, instead of Mondays for right now.
If you have several out leaving only 1-2 students in a table group, please do not have them move for group activities to sit with others. This could potentially cause a bigger spread.
Chromebooks - You and your students will want to make sure you are taking home your Chromebooks daily right now in case we were to have to use an AMI day.
-Student Leadership teams on Thursday - Please be sure you are ready to have students transition right away and attendance done BEFORE you transition. All should go directly to their leadership team after the announcements and pledge are complete so facilitators may begin on time.
-We will be short-handed in the office again this week. Unfortunately, it is likely to be the case around the building and continued support with all hands on deck are greatly appreciated. Everyone has been amazing to be aware and help out wherever is needed. THANK YOU!!
-6th band club will begin this week. Please remind students to bring their instruments on Wednesday, Friday and music days. They will be getting an assigned locker in the band closet to keep their instruments.
-Team meetings this week: Student check-in—Celebrations, reflection on progress and focus goals for 2nd semester (reading data folders, NWEA, supports, etc.). *We will try our best to stick to our normal schedule for meetings, but please be aware there may be changes depending on the need for coverage.
