Nuts and Bolts Items:
-Spring Fundraiser Kick-off Assembly: Mark your calendars for Feb. 22 at 8:40 am. We’ll have a quick assembly to share about our fundraiser. This fundraiser will help us offset the costs of our end of year events (field trips, field day, teacher appreciation, etc.)
-Field trips: We still need to get these dates on the calendar and buses lined up.
-Water Challenge continues through Wed. (Days 8-10). Don’t forget to update your water intake before leadership teams on T/TH. We can’t wait to see who earns the prizes. Best of luck!
-Primary School Picture: Stacey would like to have a picture of you as a student, preferably in primary school if possible. This may be a copy and/or we will get the original back to you! Please turn in to Stacey or the main office. We don’t need this for a bit, but wanted to get the word out so you could start looking for one!
-Meals by Monica: Want a home cooked meal, but don’t have time or have a small household? Definitely not trying to sell, but I wanted to share a business I’ve used for awhile. Meals by Monica has 4 different meals weekly they make and deliver to our school on Tuesdays around 4:00 pm. The weekly menu is posted Monday morning, order by Saturday evening for a Tuesday delivery. They also make home deliveries in the Springfield, Nixa and Ozark area if you would prefer that.
-Yearbook cover design: Students have until Feb. 15 to submit a design to Mrs. Vest or the office. See full details here. They are on sale through Mar. 3.
-House of Leaders:
Class Rewards: We’re working on a schedule for the class food treats and will communicate with those classes soon! You may schedule the other rewards (ie. extra recess, 20 min. rest time, etc.) when it works best for your class schedule.
-Compliments: We’ll leave the cards up this week in the teachers’ lounge. Take a quick second to grab a couple to make another person’s day. We see so many people daily doing kind things for others. Who can you recognize?
