News Show:
Morning Announcements: Please add things you would like to have added to our morning announcements on the appropriate day.
Nuts and Bolts Items:
-Grade Reports - Please let the office know if your team grade reports are complete early so that we may begin printing and get them to you sooner!
-Spring Fundraiser - This will kick-off on Thursday and we'll need your help with making it a success. See here for all the details you will need to help. We will be shifting Student Leadership teams to Wed. this week so that we can kick-off with a virtual video on Thursday at lead time and not interfere with NWEA testing.
-NWEA testing schedule for this week (Tues-Thurs, followed by makeups)
-Spring Conferences: Please share your conference schedule with Stacey and the office. Also, remember to log your hours here and record parent attendance here. You may reference all specifics here if you have any questions.
-MRA survey - Our window will open on Thursday for this year's survey. This Leader in Me survey feedback is very important as it helps us gauge our progress towards this year's goals and set goals for next year. Below are the details:
Parents: We will try to have some stations set up in the commons for parents to take it Thursday evening during student led conferences. Please tell parents about its purpose and encourage them to stop by to leave their feedback. We will also email it out to all parents the following week.
Students: Please plan to give the student survey during lead time next week on Friday, April 1.
Staff: We will schedule time during the April 4 Monday meeting to take this prior to action teams meeting.
-Don’t forget Lighthouse team wants to hear your feedback and suggestions! You can do so on the digital form always linked on the blog above or by using the QR codes around the building.
-Lae's eggroll food truck has been rescheduled for THIS Friday. If you'd like to add or change your order you may do so by 3:00 on Wed. here.
-Yearbooks:
On sale now! Information was sent home to parents, but you can also order here.
Pictures - Our student leadership team is hard at work to create our yearbook. However, I know they would appreciate any pictures you have taken throughout the year. If you haven't already added them to our school folder, please do so! This folder is also linked above and on the dashboard.
-Mark your calendars: April 4 is School Librarians day and April 6 is Paraprofessionals Appreciation day.
Couple Teacher Tips & Tidbits:
Need a little motivation as we kick off 4th quarter? Call 707-998-8410 to check out a school project where kindergartners give you a pep talk. What a clever idea sure to make your day! :)
As we get ready to welcome many parents into the building, we will have conversations of celebration, but also a few more that could be more difficult. I recently ran across this blog post that was a great reminder of how important it is to approach parent conversations as a team and always assuming positive intent. We are so fortunate to have such amazing and supportive parents who truly want the best for their child. I hope this resonates with you too as we begin conferences!
