WIS Weekly News:
Nuts and Bolts Items:
-Lighthouse Team Interest: Are you interested in helping us vision for our school? As we wrap up this year and set goals for next year based on our upcoming MRA data, we want to hear from those staff members (certified or classified) that may be interested in sharing their voice and leadership by serving on our Lighthouse team.
-NWEA Schedule: Testing begins this week with our 5th grade on Wed.-Fri.
-Spring Parent Conferences: Schedules should be finalized and it’s time to make sure the building is looking inviting and clean and all the documents to share are ready. In addition, you will want to prepare your students with a checklist, portfolios and practice walking through all that they plan to share during the student-led portion.
-Building Staff Wish List: Is there something you wish we had at school or you see needs improvement? Let us know when you think of it! This list is always under “Forms” on the Dashboard and is used as we prioritize purchases with the remaining budget and capital improvements.
-MRA Survey Details: The purpose of this survey is to gain input about our culture, leadership & academics from stakeholders. This important information will allow us to reflect on our progress with this year’s goals, historical growth, and also set goals for next year’s focus. The survey window will be open March 25-April 8.
Parent Survey: Please include a link to this survey and encourage parents to complete it while they are here for conferences this week. Teams are asked to include a link/QR code on your April newsletter and we'll send out reminders from the office.
Student Survey: Next Mon., Mar. 31, students will take the MRA survey in their classrooms with specials teachers at the beginning of Move-It Mon. Classroom teachers are asked to explain the purpose of this survey with their classes prior to this time so they are prepared to give their best feedback.
Link to student questions if you’d like to review with students or go over any vocabulary.
Staff Survey: Time will be given during our April 7 early out meeting. However, you are welcome to complete it before then if you choose during the window. We would appreciate input from ALL employees.
