Nuts and Bolts Items:

-Intruder Drill–Friday’s drill will be a “HARD LOCKDOWN” situation in which we choose to stay in the room, not evacuate. Be sure to be familiar with the steps for this on your emergency chart in your classroom. We also have this link for some additional notes about each drill. Please feel free to share your feedback with me also as we do these!

-12 Weeks to Full Heart challenge – Week 10 is a time to reflect on accomplishments. Pull out their goal from week 4, how is it going?

-Team meetings: Be sure that you are adding notes re: items discussed at your weekly meetings to the team agenda document.

-Heads up: We will be holding a Read-a-thon fundraiser to help with costs for our end of the year fun (field trips, field day, etc) upon our return. More information coming soon, but for now you will want to know: Pledges week of Mar. 23-27, Spirit week/Reading time week of Mar. 30-April 5, Collect money week of April 6-8 with a building-wide celebration on April 9.

  • 3:10-3:25 pm – Accountability partners check-in (What are your spring break plans? How do you plan to finish this week strong and positive?)

  • 3:30-4:30 pm – District PD in library:

-We will begin right at 3:30, so please arrive on time!

-Supplies: Bring paper and something to write with.

-Paras can plan to stay & then make up your time by leaving early Friday.

-Cheerleading try-outs at middle school (4:00-6:00 pm)


Tuesday

-Student leadership teams

-Title reading night (5:30-7:00 pm)

-Clubs: Breakfast & Books in AM, PE+, Pound Fit, NO DRAMA LLAMAS (Canceled), Cheerleading try-outs at MS


Wednesday

-Lighthouse team meeting @ 7:30 am

-Student leadership teams

-Stacey out in AM for e-team meeting

-Club: Running, Cheerleading try-outs at MS


Thursday

-Team leader meeting @ 7:30 am

-Stacey out for district interviews (9:00 am-1:00 pm)

-Clubs: Harry Potter, Tiger Tones, Math, Youth Hunting & Fishing, Cheerleading try-outs at MS


Friday – Early Dismissal @ 12:30 pm

-Pi day celebration (3.14) in lounge this morning

-Intruder Drill @ 10:30 am

-Last day of 3rd quarter (Grades due Wed., Mar. 25 by 8 am)

-DRA PM checkpoint scores due

-Taco truck will be here @ 12:15 pm (Bus parking lot)

-Middle school letters are sent home re: advanced class placement for 6th graders

-Teacher Well-Being Course with Maddeaux after school
