Although it's quite a different feeling right now, it's still crazy to think this is the last week and final blog of our school year! We have ventured together through times we never could've predicted and made so many memories. We've had challenging times and times that have brought us closer together. I have no doubt our experiences have only made us stronger and we will take what we've learned this year forward with us. I wish everyone a wonderful and safe summer!

-This article, "Visible Learning Effect Sizes When Schools Are Closed: What Matters and What Does Not" was shared with me recently at lead team and I felt it was powerful enough to share with you too. We may try to find time to talk about it during Thurs. staff meeting. I'd love to hear your thoughts after reading!
-Schedule and staff help for student belongings pick up. All staff are welcome to come during this time to greet students as we social distance along the drive. Feel free to make posters, dress up or come as you are! ;)
-Music Zoom with Mrs. Hudson at 11:00 am this week.
-Time capsule: We are still looking for a few more ideas. Anyone have a student journal writings re: this year events or want to write one as a teacher to include, winter concert program, a project sample, other ideas?? We're planning to include: pictures from construction, ribbon cutting, 1st day, etc. throughout the year, homecoming parade trophy, news show segment, current event highlights, Corona information, stats about our population and staff...what else??
