Nuts and Bolts Items:

-Teacher Appreciation Week - We can’t wait to celebrate YOU this week! It kicks off with JEANS ALL WEEK! :) Keep up with all the fun things that are planned:

-Transition Day for Parents - We will hold our first-ever transition day ‘open house’ for parents on Thursday, May 12 from 5:45-6:45 pm. We would love to have representatives for our clubs, student leadership teams and adult staff here to help welcome our new families coming next year and share about our school. Please let Stacey or a Lighthouse team member know if you can make it!

-Intro to 6th Band: We will begin the process of introducing our 5th graders to band. We will have an assembly in the morning of May 10 (Specific time TBA). This approximately 45 min. assembly will include details about the band program, a performance by some HS band students, along with a possible special performance by our current 6th grade band students! Then, on May 19 there will be instrument testing. Each class can expect this to take about 20 min. More specific info coming!

-Mark your calendars for Harron’s retirement party on May 20:
