WIS News:
Morning Announcements: Please add things you would like to have added to our morning announcements on the appropriate day.
Nuts and Bolts Items:
-Please remind students they should only have plain water to drink in class and nothing else should be in water bottles.
-Coffee drinkers: Please help us make sure the coffee pot is turned off each night. It’s been left on several times recently and one of the carafes has cracked. If the coffee is almost gone when you get your cup, please turn it off!
Adult Learning Weekly Blog Spot:
We've gotten some trash this week, but it's a bigger topic than just one blog post, so I'm going to save it as a December 'series' of posts with tips and discussion points.
This week is Thanksgiving, which is a time to reflect on all that we are grateful for, rather than focusing on our troubles. This year is different, no doubt, and it has been hard, but we've also accomplished some amazing things! Post a few of your highlights to this Padlet and let's share some joy and thanks this Thanksgiving before we join our Friendsgiving Feast!
Teaching Tip/Tech Resource:
Building a classroom community and relationships with your students is a daily effort. With our short week or return from break next week, it’s a great opportunity to spend some extra time to slow down and enjoy each other. Check out this list of reflective questions to ask students. There are several that may spark some great conversations, build trust or connections and give you a great glimpse into ways to strengthen your classroom!
