WIS News:

Morning Announcements: Please add things you would like to have added to our morning announcements on the appropriate day.

Nuts and Bolts Items:

-Seating charts - Have you updated these for EACH of your classes? If not, or you’ve made changes to class or lunch seating, it is very important to make sure the MOST recent is on file in your team’s folder: maroon, teal, green, navy. Thanks for ensuring these are accurate!

-Team meetings-Shawnda and I will not be attending your team meetings this week as many have parent conferences scheduled. If you need either of us for anything, don’t hesitate to reach out!

-Homebound Attendance Log - Please be sure to log contacts DAILY made with our students on homebound due to COVID reasons.

-Reminder that we are looking for a PLC building representative. If you are interested, please let Bethanie or Shawnda know.

-Fall conferences - As you complete parent conferences this week, don’t forget to update your contact attendance here and turn in your schedule to Stacey if you haven’t already.

Adult Learning Weekly Blog Spot:

Not much trash this week, which I sincerely hope means that there was much less stress! Since there aren't any topics that we have to address this week, you're stuck with one of my positive psychology gems! There are millions of surveys out there for self awareness. Enneagrams, StrengthsQuest, Buzzfeed's Which Marvel Superhero Are You?. The founder of positive psychology has one to help determine your core values. Take this free survey and see what type of values drive your journey. With your accountability partner, talk about your top 5 and how you can or have used them to change your outlook or situation in the past. How can you apply this knowledge to your current situation? How can you use these traits to help you achieve your goals?

Teaching Tip/Tech Resource:

A couple weeks ago we shared about Jamboard. Here is another great virtual whiteboard with lots of great features: whiteboard.chat. They are also offering a free webinar to show it’s capabilities on Nov. 5 you can sign up for.
