Mon. Library/Counseling Week: B week

Morning Announcements: Please add things you would like to have added to our morning announcements on the appropriate day.

WIS shared picture folder: Please add your school pictures throughout the year. We’d love to have lots to choose from for the yearbook!

Nuts and Bolts Items:

-AMI planning & preparations: Hopefully your team was able to visit last week about AMI team expectations. This week is a great time to go over these expectations and how to log onto Google Meet with your class. All AMI documents are linked on the Dashboard under “Schedules” to assist you or give us a holler if you need help!

-WIG math & NWEA goal setting: How are your student WIG’s going? Has your class achieved a weekly celebration and seeing progress on the class scoreboard? It would also be beneficial to make some time at the first of next week for students to review their September NWEA scores and set individual growth goals for the Dec. one.

-Winter Weather safety: FYI - On snow or ice days, we would ask that staff use either the main or bus entrance doors only for everyone’s safety. These will be the first 2 locations that are shoveled and treated. You may park closer in the front on these days too.

-End of day messages: Please make sure to check off when you have communicated the message to students. Rhonda and Amanda work to track down students for any messages not checked off and this is difficult.

-Student Leadership Teams: Events Leadership team has moved to Mrs. Robertson’s room #302 instead of Mr. Allie’s room. Thanks to all of our team facilitators for helping our kick-off be successful! Students really seem to be enjoying this time.

-District Strategic Planning: This process has been pushed back. Tentative plans for staff and student feedback is now in January. More information to come as items are finalized.

-Teacher Proud Tuesday Nominations: WIS will be featured by our district in December and we’d love your input in nominating a teacher that has inspired you at WIS.

-Paper and lamination: We would like your help in conserving our paper and lamination. Like with many other things, the cost has REALLY increased ($10-12 a box!). At this point in the year, we have gone through more than 40 boxes of paper and 3 rolls of lamination. We aren’t limiting at this time, but asking all to be mindful in helping! THANK YOU!
