Video Weekly Announcements:

Nuts and Bolts Items:

-Friendsgiving – It’s not too late if you want to come! Be sure to let us know what you’re bringing. We may run and pick up a few things we're short on.😊

-Winter Concert Sign-Up: It’s our hope this evening is a great event for our students and community. However, an event of this size takes many hands. We would like to encourage everyone to find a way you can volunteer. There’s not only help needed the night of, but many items in the preparation leading up to it. Thanks to everyone!

-Team Student-Led Conference Feedback – Classroom teachers – Don’t forget to submit your feedback!

-Mark your calendar: Tiger Tones will be doing a Winter Tour on Dec. 19 from 9:30 am-2:15 pm. Please be aware this will mean several students will be out this day.

-Class/Team Holiday party – Dec. 20 early out day. This is not normally a homeroom sponsored party, so we will leave the planning to teams. If you are planning food and would like to reserve a 30 min. time slot in the commons, please let Rhonda or Stacey know to get it added to the calendar.

Teacher Tips:

As Thanksgiving is upon us and the holiday season is gearing up, it’s an important time to remember not all of our students are as excited as we are. For many students this time of year brings stress – worry about what more time at home, lack of food, gifts and missing the structure and security provided here at school. Listen to this podcast with Dr. Becky Bailey, founder of Conscious Discipline for suggestions to help your students: “Managing the Stress of Your Children During the Holidays”.
