Nuts and Bolts Items:
-NWEA testing begins this week. Mrs. Muller shared this goal setting page you can use in preparing your students for our Wed. kick-off. (Schedule)
-AMI: This AMI checklist will help ensure your team/content has thought through all the parts. Teachers and students should be prepared by Dec. 1 for possible AMI days.
-Winter Wonderland Festival: This is next week! We encourage everyone to find a way to get involved as it will take many hands to be successful. (Event Roles sign up, Booth Sign up)
-District Growth Hours: If you haven’t already, please complete your DGH hours in Talent Ed by the end of the semester. Attendance at our Aug. 1 Leader in Me training completes the 6 hours required.
-WIG math goal: Update your class scoreboard this week. We’re anxious to see how classes will finish strong and hopefully celebrate this growth on their NWEA too!
-Winter Weather safety: On snow or ice days, we would ask that staff use either the main or bus entrance doors only for everyone’s safety. These will be the first 2 locations that are shoveled and treated.
-12 Days to Holiday Break: Beginning next Wed. we’ll have some fun counting down to our holiday break with spirit days. Some for us and a few the students can join too! ;) See the calendar for details and to sign up for a read aloud time with Ms. Pippin for your class.
-Teacher Proud Tuesday Nominations: WIS will be featured by our district in December and we’d love your input in nominating a teacher that has inspired YOU at WIS.
