Bells will ring for each team + walker/Tiger Tales/club dismissal:

Mon. Library/Counseling Week: A Week (*Please have students bring their Chromebook to Counseling.)



Morning Announcements: Please add things you would like to have added to our morning announcements on the appropriate day and/or communicate to Autumn before the day of announcement.


WIS shared picture folder: PLEASE add your pictures here for us and continue to add throughout the year to our folder. This is used for our yearbook and social media posts to tell our story!


Nuts and Bolts Items:

-Please be sure to recognize students and/or staff for our October Community Time that will be held next Thursday. Here is the form which is also always linked on the Dashboard under "Current Items" so you can do it when you think of it!

-Don’t forget to add any pictures you took last week during our many events here. These really help with our yearbook, news and social media posts. Thank you!

-WCCF grant applications: If you’d like to apply for this round of classroom grants the window is open for the December grants. Applications must be submitted by Nov. 21.

-Veterans Day Ceremony on Fri.: Please share your pictures of your veteran family members too here. You may mention this to your students too as we don't have as many signed up as usual and add to your communication home as a reminder!

-Holiday Family Sponsors: If your team, group or own family is interested in sponsoring a Willard family or student for the holidays, please reach out to our school social worker, Merikate Alexander for more information. Brenna can also answer questions you might have. 

-Food Drive: We will also be holding a food drive from Nov. 10-21 at WIS. Look for more information to be coming from Brenna soon.

-Burrell: Abby will be out on Wed-Thurs. this week, so will not be seeing her students as normal on these days.

-NWEA Save the Date: Dec. NWEA testing dates will be:

  • Dec. 2 - Math

  • Dec. 3 - Science

  • Dec. 9 - ELA

-Student Leadership Teams: Culture team is ready for our teams to begin! Teams will meet for the first time this Thursday 6th. Look for an email Monday morning with more specific details. See the rosters and room map for teams here. Teams will also want to plan time on Tues. or Wed. during Lead time to announce teams and hand out certificates for their leadership portfolio.

-Assembly Day Schedule (*Note: We will come down a little earlier than normal.)

-Brenna out in AM for Counselors Meeting

-Veterans Day Ceremony @ 2:30-3:15 pm

  • Students with guests will be called down around 2:10 pm to the commons.

  • We will begin call down for everyone else about 2:15-2:20 pm. 

  • We hope to end at 3:15 pm, but please have your students packed and ready to go home just in case. They do not need to bring items to the assembly. 

-Clubs: Early Bird Spanish, Lego
