Nuts and Bolts Items:
-Seating charts - Are you making any changes this week? This should happen on Monday only. Be sure your digital seating charts are up-to-date for quick access if needed.
-Conferences - Please remember to log your information here and also your time here. If you are still working on reaching some, please notate them on the log. We’re well on our way to 100%. A BIG THANK YOU for the tremendous amount of time and effort you all put into making the conferences a success. It’s been a tough, but powerful couple of weeks as we connected with our families. The feedback we’ve received has really been positive!
-A huge thank you to David and the many others who helped him with another successful book fair! This is a big undertaking, especially to run for 2 weeks. Thank you!
-Veterans Day Parade Details:
Parade will be Thursday (Approximately 9:20-9:35 am). Full K-6 schedule here.
Classes outside and ready by 9:15 am. Map of team locations.
Encourage all to wear red, white and blue.
Decorations: Class set of small flags will be brought to homeroom teachers. Classes are also encouraged to create signs and banners to display during the parade.
We will be watching the weather closely as there is a chance for rain and will let you know if we must cancel.
-Substitutes- As the district continues to look for ways to recruit additional substitutes, the school board voted to increase the daily pay to $92 effective 11/3/21.
-Webcam - Please let me know if you do NOT currently have a webcam in your classroom. It is our goal that EVERY room has one and we have some available.
-Dress code - We wanted to review a couple items on the dress code due to recent conversations to ensure everyone is aware. Particularly #5 & 10 as we’ve had a few incidents with students wanting to wear gloves during the school day and/or excessive writing or makeup on their bodies. You can access our student handbook here. Dress code is at the bottom of p. 8 if you’d like to refer to it with students.
