-Instructional Excellence hours have been approved and updated on teacher plans that were submitted.

-District growth hours – Remember, if you attended our Leader in Me-Launching Leadership training on May 28 this will count as your DGH hours and can be entered in Talent Ed now. If you did not attend this date, you will need to complete 6 hours of PD before the end of the school year for this requirement.

Leader in Me Moment:

This week for LIM we would like for you to focus on Habit 2: Begin With the End In Mind. The Highly Effective Paradigm is that by clearly defining your vision and purpose in life will make all the difference.

In order to live the Highly Effective Paradigm of Habit 2, you must define outcomes before you act.

A clear agenda and objective -----> A productive meeting

A goal with a clear endpoint and deadline ----> A goal achieved with excellence

A compelling Personal Mission Statement ----> A life of contribution and fulfillment

This week think about a goal you would like to achieve and create a plan to achieve it. Think about people who can help you be successful in your goal and any obstacles you may face. Write this down so you will be able to reference it as needed.

Teacher Tips:

ELA teachers – Here is an article with some great ideas to help eliminate the ‘fake reading’ during independent reading time through your conversations during reading conferences.
