WIS shared picture folder - Did you take some Homecoming pics last week? Be sure and add them in the folder for us!
Nuts and Bolts Items:
-Student WIG survey #2 - Please have your class do the survey MONDAY if you weren’t able to on Friday. Currently we have 198 students completed and would love to share the results during our celebration this afternoon. Remember, it is also linked in the LMC Google classroom for easy access!
-Friday Fall Parties - Please put items parents send in on the counter by the mailboxes. We’d appreciate all hands on deck during your grade level party time throughout the commons areas. We’ll start in the Tiger Den to go over expectations and what fun is available to students before they break out for free choice time.
-Seating charts - Are you making any changes this week? Be sure your digital seating charts are up-to-date for quick access if needed.
-Trunk-or-Treat - Please encourage your families to participate in our trunk-or-treat on Oct. 26. Please add the names on our list. We could use a few more trunks!
-Parent Teacher Conferences begin next Thursday and many are finalizing schedules. If you have any questions, please refer to this document. Our district goal is 100% parent involvement.
-School Pictures - Picture Retake Day will be Mon., Nov. 1. We should be receiving our individual pictures soon.
-Social committee - Don’t forget to put your dues in Bailey’s mailbox by Friday to get a jeans day pass!

As parent conferences are quickly approaching, this article is a great reminder of how we can open our doors to the parents and assure them we are a partnership in helping their child be successful. Check out, “Being on the Other Side of the Teacher Conference Desk".
Another great way to get parents involved is to have them leave a note for their child or check out the suggestion in the tweet to the right.
