Nuts and Bolts Items:
-Special thanks to everyone for all your efforts during a very busy homecoming week! We pulled off many things last week and we know that doesn't happen without a lot of planning and some extra time on everyone's part. This doesn't go unnoticed. THANK YOU!! A special thanks to Paige and our specials team who helped coordinate an awesome float with our students! Check out the fun here and be sure to add any pictures you took too.
-ELA teachers: Please update your class book count on the 40 book totals spreadsheet for September.
-PD Plans: Hopefully you were able to get your 2 goals chosen and listed in Talent Ed. We will be dedicating a small portion of time after school today to go over the WIG tracker portion of this since it is new for many. Bring your leadership portfolios!
-Read-a-thon Fundraiser: Over the next two weeks, please help us encourage students to participate in our Read-a-Thon by getting donations and READING MORE! Take advantage of finding opportunities to READ, make sure you've sent the flyer information home, talk about it in your classes to see who is participating and share what the money raised is going towards, etc. Our sharing has a big impact on a successful fundraiser. Let's kick it off strong!
We kick off our fundraiser next week, Oct. 2-13. Look for information to send home in your mailboxes this week!
