Morning Announcements: Please add things you would like to have added to our morning announcements on the appropriate day and/or communicate to Autumn before the day of announcement.
WIS shared picture folder: PLEASE add your 1st week pictures here for us and continue to add throughout the year to our folder. This is used for our yearbook and social media posts to tell our story!
Nuts and Bolts Items:
-Student Leadership Team feedback - Please share your input if you haven’t yet as our Culture Action team will be looking over it during our early out meeting on Monday.
-Media Leaders: Reminder to please send your media leaders on their day for announcements and to work on the news. (*See email from Autumn on Aug. 29 for days and info.)
-Tutoring: As your team sets a schedule for tutoring, please add the times on this document. Teams should offer at least two opportunities throughout the week and can be across the grade level (ie. student could attend with either math teacher) as you share the needs together. As we get to know our student needs better, it’s a goal for this to begin by the first of Oct.
-Staff snacks basket: Just a reminder our staff snack basket in the lounge is on the honor system. If you make a purchase, please put your payment in the treasure chest. In case of emergencies, feel free to leave an IOU and return as soon as you can. :) Thanks for help!
-Intruder/Lockdown Drill on Tuesday: Review procedures and preparation for LOCKDOWN here to be prepared. We will plan to release with a school SRO/admin, but do not need to barricade.
-Practicum students: If you have a practicum student, please make sure they are listed on this form.
-NWEA make-ups should wrap-up this week. We’ve only got a few more to complete! So close!
-40 Ways to Build Positive Relationships in 40 Days Challenge: We all know the impact positive relationships have on student learning and this is a fun way to intentionally track your efforts. Certified staff who complete this challenge by Nov. 5 will receive an additional $20 towards their classroom budget! Keep track of dates you do each and then turn in your completed form to Stacey.
-Student Positive Behavior System:
Hope to do a pop-up positive behavior announcement this week, so have your students with 10 stickers sign their name on the grid!
We hope to have the team dino eggs and nest complete for students to see this week!
