Weekly News Show:
*Please be sure to show your class the news on Monday.*
Nuts and Bolts Items:
-Social Committee: Please turn in your social committee dues as soon as possible. This group has supported a few staff members this year already. We still have many to contribute. Certified staff are asked to pay $20 and classified is $10. Dues can be turned in to Autumn or office.
-Cycle 1 Reflections: We are missing several of the "Self-Reflection Assessment" from students. If your class hasn't completed this yet to end the cycle, please make sure to do it as soon as you can! All teams should begin Cycle 2 this week. We'll have a quick opportunity for questions during our early out Mon. meeting.
-Staff Favorites: This is a list of favorites for our staff. It is also located on the Dashboard under “Faculty Info”.
-Team Newsletters: Please be sure to share your team’s newsletter with Stacey, Autumn, Karen and Kelly. These should be sent home by the end of the week.
-Tutoring: Don’t forget to add your team’s tutoring schedule.
-Special Attendance: Please remember we keep track of those students who stay with us for either tutoring or clubs that support reading or math needs as we receive additional state funding for this attendance outside school hours. You will complete this document for those students. This is also linked on the Dashboard under “Daily/Weekly”.
-PD Plans: All certified teachers will complete a PD plan identifying 2 goals you will focus on this year. Further details:
We will provide support and do these together during our Mon. early out staff meeting this week.
PD Menu - You may use this menu to help you choose your personal goals. Please take a look at this to choose your goals before our meeting.
At least 1 goal should be academic specific
Due date: Sept. 30
Coach’s Corner: The Hurtasaurus Report
Our one team one Willard Walk went so great! We saw so many good things and each time I am in classrooms it makes me so proud to be partnering with you. Your hard work is apparent and we are so glad you are here!!
Did you know? NWEA has a section on Professional Learning? When you login at the top there is a section called "Professional Learning" If you are wanting to dive deeper into NWEA and not sure where to start, feel free to watch some of the videos to learn more. We will go over NWEA data at our Monday September 29 Content Meetings.
Please note: I will be out of the building on Wednesday 10/1 and Thursday 10/2 due to content team meetings being held at Intermediate North!
Make it a great week!
