Nuts and Bolts Items:
-Chrome Camp schedule: We will go to the library for week 3 of Chrome Camp this week.
-Substitute Folder: Please have your completed substitute folder where it is easily found on your desk. If you need a folder, we've got some more left in the office, just let us know!
-NWEA Testing Schedule: Will be Tues.-Fri. this week. Our special services times will be updated soon on the schedule. Please be mindful of team testing times to be quiet in the hallways. Check the planning guide for questions or reach out to Samantha with any further needs.
-Clubs: If you have a club starting soon, please get the club proposal form to Stacey in order to be approved and added to the school calendar.
-Positive Behavior Supports System: Please share this information with your class this week if you haven’t already. We hope to have our first drawing on Friday announcements. Class stamps for class incentive will also be coming soon. If you DON’T have your class grid, let us know in the office as we believe we delivered them all last week.
-Tutoring Schedule: When your team/grade level has determined a tutoring schedule to make available to families, please let Stacey also know. The goal would be to have these by the first of Oct.
-Soundwave Choral Group: Auditions will be this week before/after school. Please send students/parents to Mr. Surber for any questions.
-Emergency Procedures: Please use this document to prepare for our fire drill on Tuesday afternoon. This document will be updated this week with our other Emergency Procedures using the SRP protocols.
-If you are having food delivered it is helpful to let the office know so they are aware and can be watching for it.
-Lockdown magnets: We have not found a better solution at this time, so we will plan to use the ones we have by putting tape on them. If you did not pick up one, let the office or Stacey know and we will get one to you!
-Mission Statements: Please have yours hung up outside your door. If you haven't got one yet, we'll be providing help in the next few weeks or you can use the guide on the Leader in Me website to help you get it finalized!
Teaching Tidbits:
Students starting to settle in and become more comfortable in your classroom?! That's what we want, but it's also important to have clear systems and procedures in place to ensure you are maximizing the instructional time with them.
