Nuts and Bolts Items:
-Sad news: We learned of Isaac East’s resignation Friday afternoon. As you know, he played a very important role in our building and this will be an important, but difficult position to fill. In the meantime, we are asking for everyone’s patience as we attempt to provide coverage with the help of Becca, MTSS support specials teachers, Andrew Morton, substitutes when available and many others of us who will lend a helping hand. We are posting the position asap and it will be a priority to find a new teammate to offer this consistent support.
Please continue to use the walkie when reset room support is needed to confirm someone is available in the room. This person, or the office, will respond and let you know the next steps.
We are aware there are some students with scheduled breaks and we will continue to maintain this schedule also as best we can, so as to keep these students’ day consistent.
-Instructional Excellence: Information will be shared this week re: proposals for those interested in participating in IE. Proposals will be due Mon, Sept. 23.
-Entering Absences: We’ve had a few who have had difficulty recently entering their absences. Last year, the log in procedure changed. You should choose to login with our ORGANIZATION now. Depending on what screen you get, it should be the buttons with the red arrows below:
-Social Committee: Please don’t forget to turn your social committee dues in to Amanda or Autumn for this year. You may do so with cash or a check. (Certified-$20, Classified-$10)
-We had a few pizzas left from our Playground Painting on Saturday. Feel free to help yourself in the fridge in teachers’ lounge.
