Morning Announcements: Please add things you would like to have added to our morning announcements on the appropriate day.

Nuts and Bolts Items:

-Parent/Teacher conferences:

  • Teachers will log 7.5 hours for conferences (Following dates: Oct. 24, 28-30). Tues. evening counts as 4 of these hours.

  • I am happy to attend any conference you would like me to. I’ve got a few scheduled already and plan to come around to hear some of the student led conferences too. Just let me know if you need anything!

  • Please turn in conference attendance by homeroom on this document to keep track of contacts made. Special class and special services, can also let me know about contacts you make on the second tab here.

-Veteran's Day Celebration (Mon., Nov. 11 from 1:00-2:30 pm): Our celebration will begin with a short assembly followed by a few station rotations with your team. Further details are coming, but parents were emailed invites and request for digital pictures this weekend. Pictures should be emailed to Mrs. Cones and invites returned to Mrs. Johnson by Nov. 6.

-Friendsgiving: Mark your calendars! We’ll plan on holding our first Friendsgiving on Mon., Nov. 25 as soon as we’re done with meetings. We’ll provide the meat and drinks. Then, have a sign-up soon for items to go with our pot luck feast! 😊

-Sub requests: We’ve had some issues with subs going to the wrong intermediate in the mornings. When you put in a request, please add in the notes our address (630 S. Miller Ave, Spfld) to hopefully help this!

-Safe schools training videos are due Nov. 5. Do you have all of yours done?!

-For those of you using the staff parking lot in back, we'll try our best to have the custodial doors open on bad weather days for you to use.

Leader in Me Moment:

Living the 7 habits and understanding its power both professionally and personally is a constant intentional process to feel successful. Read about this third grade teacher’s story. How or where could your paradigm use a shift? It’s going to be a busy week. Have you been proactive to make it a success? Is your mindset where you want it to be? It’s time to help our students shine and show off the work they’ve been doing. Then, a few days rest and sharpening the saw is just around the corner!
